NATIONAL SPACE INSTITUTE AS NEW VENUE FOR NITP 2018 CONFERENCE

BREAKING NEWS 

The AGM for the NITP has been moved to Abuja, 19th – 23rd November at National Space Research and Development Agency, Abuja. Read more below:

1. Referendum carried out was unanimously in favour of Abuja as new venue for the conference. In view of the foregoing, and with due respect to Kaduna Chapter, Abuja is now the venue of the 49th National Conference and AGM to hold from 19th to 23rd November, 2018.

National Space Research and Technology Agency, (Obasanjo Space Centre)
Along Umaru Yar’adua Expressway (Airport Road)
Near Lugbe and opposite Dan mega petrol station.

2. Council appreciates the effort put in by the National Planning Committee especially Kaduna Chapter (Local Planning Committee) in all the preparations that have been carried out. We encourage Kaduna Chapter to accept Council’s decision and persuade Members to attend the Conference in Abuja.

 

3. Council is aware that there are financial implications of this decision especially in respect of the Kaduna Chapter and appropriate steps will be taken to compensate them.

 

4. It is therefore expected that Members of Council will mobilize other members of the institute to attend the forthcoming National Conference and AGM in the spirit of national unity.

  1. Lack of zoning has defaced the aesthetics of today towns, more shanties than smart cities. Planners ought to be proactive in enforcement. Corruption has simply killed ethics.
